Richard I. Fisher, MD (Rich) retired in June, 2021, and moved back to Chicagoland area to be near his two daughters and five grandchildren. He is a Medical Oncologist who trained at Harvard, Massachusetts General Hospital, and the National Cancer Institute. He directed the Cardinal Bernardin Cancer Center at Loyola; the Wilmot Cancer Center at the University of Rochester; and as President and CEO of Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia was the most Admired CEO according to Philadelphia Business Journal. He served as president of Loyola Faculty Senate; Director of the Rochester Medical Faculty Group; and Board of Directors of the American Society of Clinical Oncology. He lives in Ward 3 with Susan, his wife of 45 years, and his two Irish Settlers. Rich looks forward to making a contribution to the Lake Forest Caucus.
